Obverse: Alter with five patrician coat-of-arms, flanked by crane with a rock in risen right claw to left and City Goddess (Tyche), holding oval coat-of-arms of Nurnberg. Medallist´s signature (P.P.W.) engraved in the base of alter, date of the field piece shooting (8th of June, 1733) in exergue.

Legend: DER LANDES VAETTER WACHSAMKEIT. ("Viligance of the fathers of the country.")

Reverse: Firing range with nine cannons on carriages aimed at a target towards Fürth, below the coat-of-arms of the quartermaster, above triple coat-of-arms of the triumvir (ruling body of three officials, responsible for the governance of an administrative department).
