This meaningful Silver coin celebrates Margarita Salas Falgueras, the Spanish scientist and researcher in the field of molecular biology and one of the first women to have a research group in Spain. The coin has Proof quality, a great design, selective coloration and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 7.000 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin shows the portrait of Margarita Salas Falgueras, known for her groundbreaking work on DNA replication and repair mechanisms, as well as her contributions to the study of bacteriophages. For the great woman she was, on this coin she is also representing the International Women's Day, honoring the contribution of women in the world.
