The reverse of this rectangular coin depicts Santa Claus standing in a snow-covered Christmas village beneath a bright full moon. To the left, a decorated streetlamp glows beside him as he carries a sack filled with gifts and raises a lantern in his hand. Across the frozen landscape, illuminated houses, fir trees, a church spire, and a stone bridge create a peaceful winter scene reflected in the dark water below. At the upper right of the reverse, the inscription: "Merry Christmas!" - the festive greeting that crowns the composition. The obverse transforms the coin into a humorous postcard addressed directly to Santa. Snowflakes decorate the upper field, while the large handwritten-style inscriptions read: "Dear Santa", "I have been", "EXTRA nice", and "Since yesterday" - a playful confession written across the left side. To the right, the postcard carries the inscriptions: "To:" and "Santa Claus", followed by "Address:" and "North Pole". Above, the postal markings include: "SANTA CLAUS", "HO HO HO", and "NORTH POLE", accompanied by the image of Santa's sleigh and reindeer. At the upper right, the stamp features a profile portrait and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "500 FRANCS CFA" - the face value, and "20" and "26" - together indicating the year of issue.
