AH78 Zdzislaw Beksinski 1 Oz Silver Coin 1000 Francs Cameroon 2026 PP

This haunting 1 Oz Silver coin is a descent into the dark and unsettling imagination of Zdzislaw Beksinski. AH78. A human face dissolving into something fractured, mechanical, almost archaeological. Flesh becomes texture. Eyes become shattered forms. Identity slips between dream and nightmare. The artwork is recreated through atmospheric Digital Printing, preserving its muted tones and disturbing visual depth against the brilliance of Silver. Polished to luminous Proof, the coin also features intricate Microprinting that rewards a closer look. It comes in a box with its Certificate of Authenticity. Limited to 1.000 pieces worldwide. The reverse of this Silver coin presents a haunting work by Zdzislaw Beksinski. At the center, a solitary human figure emerges from a faded, almost spectral background. The face is transformed by dark organic and mechanical forms, with circular structures dominating the eyes and rough, layered textures spreading across the head. Human. Constructed. Decaying. The familiar becomes alien, capturing the disturbing ambiguity that defines Beksinski's visual world. Digital Printing recreates the artwork in subdued shades of black, brown, ochre, and pale ivory, giving the composition the appearance of an aged and deteriorating memory. The image is enclosed within a layered frame, while a larger monochrome fragment of the same unsettling face extends across the background. At the lower right of the reverse, the signature: "Beksinski" - the artist's signature. The obverse features a portrait of Zdzislaw Beksinski in profile, surrounded by the objects and details of an artist's studio. Brushes, frames, tools, and mechanical elements fill the background, creating an intimate setting around the artist. At the lower left, the Coat of Arms of Cameroon establishes the issuing authority. On the obverse, the inscriptions: "2026" - the year of issue, "1000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value, "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, and "Ag 999" - the fineness of the Silver.
