This remarkable 2 Oz Silver coin is part of the "Slavic Bestiary" series, a mythic journey through the creatures of ancient Slavic legend. This edition reveals Alkonost. Half-woman. Half-bird. A celestial omen of beauty, sorrow, and song. Her golden wings open across a dark Ruthenium field, while Selective Gold plating illuminates her face, crown, feathers, and sacred presence. Mysterious. Regal. Enchanted. Struck in BU quality, the coin turns folklore into metal, shadow into legend, and silence into a song no mortal can forget. The coin is sealed in a case with its Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 200 pieces worldwide! The reverse of this Silver coin depicts Alkonost, the legendary bird-maiden of Slavic mythology. A hypnotic figure with a human face and majestic wings, she appears crowned and radiant, holding a blooming flower against an intricate ornamental background. The design is dramatic and theatrical. Gold against darkness. Myth against night. To the left, the large wing spreads across the composition, richly detailed with feather textures and enhanced by Selective Gold plating. At the top, a solemn sun face watches over the scene, surrounded by clouds and stars. At the bottom, sharp bird claws and curling natural elements complete the transformation between woman, bird, and spirit. On the reverse, also the inscriptions: "ALKONOST" - the name of the mythical creature, and "SLAVIC BESTIARY" - the name of the series. The obverse of the coin presents the Coat of Arms of Cameroon at the center, framed by a dense bestiary-inspired forest scene filled with animals, branches, and dark ornamental relief. All around, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, and "1000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value. Near the center, the inscriptions: "2026" - the year of issue, "2 Oz Ag 999" - the weight and fineness of Silver.
