ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST Da Vinci 1/200 Oz Gold Coin 5000 Francs Gabon PL

This haunting Gold coin is part of the "Da Vinci" series, a meditation on revelation, mystery, and sacred light. This edition honors St. John the Baptist, one of Leonardo's most enigmatic devotional images. Seductive. Spiritual. Elusive. The saint emerges from darkness with a knowing smile and an upward gesture that points beyond the visible world. The Proof-like brilliance intensifies the dramatic contrast and the mystical atmosphere. Limited to 50.000 pieces worldwide. The reverse of this coin captures "St. John the Baptist" in the central framed image. The saint emerges from a dark background with softly modeled flesh, curling hair, and a raised finger that directs the gaze upward, toward the divine and the unseen. To the left of the reverse stands the portrait of Leonardo da Vinci. To the right, the inscriptions: "Leonardo" and "da Vinci". At the bottom, the inscription: "ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST" - the name of the coin. The composition is spare yet magnetic, built on shadow, expression, and gesture. The obverse presents the Coat of Arms of Gabon, along with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE GABONAISE" - the issuing country, "999/1000 FINE GOLD" - the fineness of the Gold, and "5000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
