Original rectangular leather box, dimensions: 175 x 80 x 20mm. After opening, the uneven brass arm balance can be raised with a handle. It bears the master's signature on the shorter arm and a sliding counterweight that moves on a scale on the longer arm. (before 1800). Jecker worked at Ramsden in London in 1786. Around 1792, he founded his own workshop in Paris.
There, he presented these WILKINSON scales. Four models of coins for each side of the balance are provided, in order to verify the weight of the object. Very rare in this condition
