NGC MS 61. TOP POP and the only one graded!!

This is a very RARE variety of the taler of Friedrich of Brunswick-Luneburg-Celle (1636-1648), 1642. Described as 6494-A by Davenport this coin has absence of the decorated inner border on obverse - rarely seen on auctions!! The coin preserves original sharp details of the garment some underlying luster as well as uncirculated appearance despite of the weak strike on reverse. Attractively toned and still reflective fields creates unique "aging" appearance of this rare and desirable collectible coin! Of course TOP POP and the only one graded by NGC! Great collectible and investment find from all perspectives!!
