NGC MS 61- TOP POP and the only ONE graded!!

We are offering one of the RAREST coin from Nuremberg mintage - so-called "Basiliskentaler" or " Basilisk Taler", 1630. Described as one of the varieties of Davenport 5646 this mystical coin reflect the coat of arms on obverse supported by Basilisks, a mythical creatures with head of rooster and the body of snake. It is not quite clear why such a creature were displayed on this particular type of taler but historically the coin was minted in a period of political and territorial turbulence in the Holy Roman Empire so the Basilisk could represent the power of the Imperial City - such as a strength and invincibility which is one of the features of the Basilisk. Either way this is an extreme rare coin on any auctions to find with dismal mintage and only single specimens in a high grade. We are happy to offer one graded as MS 61 by NGC with greatly preserved small details of the design, clear fields, possibly cleaned at past and slightly retoned. Amazing collectible and investment find!
