The Triumvirs, Octavian 32 – 27 and as Augustus, 27 BC – 14 AD. AR Fourée Denarius (18,4mm. 3,00 g.). Uncertain mint in Italy. Winged bust of Victory right. Rev. CAESAR-DIVI F across fields, Octavian as Neptune, standing left, foot on a globe, holding aplustre and sceptre. RIC 256; RSC 60; BMC 615; Sear 1553. Minor areas where is missing the silver surface, otherwise, very fine with a nice old cabinet tone.
