FR : Au départ, cette pièce était seulement une médaille monétiforme respectant les spécificités de la pièce de 5 francs. Elle fut admise dans la circulation par autorisation du ministre des finances et reconnue ultérieurement par l'Union Latine. Il existe deux variétés pour ce type qui résident dans la séparation de la date du mariage au revers ou le 21/22 août est séparé par un point ou un trait
EN : Initially, this coin was only a monetary medal respecting the specificities of the 5 franc coin. It was admitted into circulation by authorization of the Minister of Finance and later recognized by the Latin Union. There are two varieties for this type which reside in the separation of the wedding date on the reverse or the 21/22 August is separated by a dot or a line
