ACADÉMIE FRANÇAISE Académie française, émission de 1776 n.d. Silber
Obverse : LOUIS XVI ROI DE FRANCE ET DE NAVAR.
EN : An interesting bust from the very beginning of the reign. This token, for example, could have belonged to Malesherbes. These tokens were distributed to members of the Academy during their meetings on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Academicians noted for their regular attendance at meetings were called \\\"jetonniers.\\\"
