FR : Né le 18 juillet 1847 à La Roche-de-Glun (Drôme), Paul-Émile Millefaut commence sa carrière comme élève architecte chez Pierre Bossan, avant de se tourner vers la sculpture. Il entre à l’École des beaux-arts de Lyon en 1867 et en sort lauréat en 1872. Après un séjour de 15 ans à La Ciotat, il retourne à Lyon en 1888, où il réalise plusieurs œuvres majeures
EN : Born on July 18, 1847 in La Roche-de-Glun (Drôme), Paul-Émile Millefaut began his career as an architectural student with Pierre Bossan, before turning to sculpture. He entered the École des Beaux-Arts de Lyon in 1867 and graduated in 1872. After a 15-year stay in La Ciotat, he returned to Lyon in 1888, where he produced several major works.
