Reverse : Étoile à six rais surmontant un croissant
Commentary : Monnaie centrée. Des faiblesses. Très beau portrait de Juba II. Patine grise avec de légers reflets dorés
FR : Le revers est peut-être inspiré par le denier d’Auguste (RCV. 1640) de Turpilianus avec les mêmes symboles au revers (luni-solaire : astre et lune). Variété avec grand croissant de lune et grande étoile. La légende est stéréotypée, le K a la forme d’un I et les A sont ouverts en forme de Lambda
EN : The reverse is perhaps inspired by the denarius of Augustus (RCV. 1640) of Turpilianus with the same symbols on the reverse (lunisolar: star and moon). Variety with large crescent moon and large star. The legend is stereotypical, the K has the shape of an I and the A's are open in the shape of Lambda
