ACADÉMIES ET SOCIÉTÉS SAVANTES Société asiatique 1822 R2 Kupfer
Obverse : LOUIS XVIII ROI DE FRANCE ET DE NAVARRE Buste de Louis XVIII à droite, signé DEPAULIS F. DE PUYMAURIN. D.
EN : There is a lot of information about this society at http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9_asiatique . Note that among the first members were Antoine-Isaac Silvestre de Sacy and Jean-François Champollion. This token is certainly the inaugural token because the society was officially founded in 1829 and would certainly bear this date if the minting had been after 1829
