ROUYER - X. JETONS DE NUREMBERG Type d’André Hac, greffier de la Cour des Monnaies n.d. Nuremberg Messing
Obverse : ANDRE. HAC. GREFFIER. DE. LA. COURT. DES. MONOIES Écu aux armes d'André Hac : d'or, à trois vanneaux de sinople
Reverse : GALLIA.
EN : This token is of German manufacture, not only in style but also in the signature CK (Chilianus Kochuus) of Nuremberg. It is worth noting the humor and mockery of choosing the token of the clerk of the Mint Court as the model for the copies. The reverse type with GALLIA FORTIT will also become a standard for Nuremberg productions.
