PRIVACY STATEMENT
In accordance with the application of the new General Data Protection Regulation in the EU (as of May 2018), you will find information in this statement with regard to the personal data that we receive from you when you place an order with us and how we use this data.
WHAT KIND OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE RECEIVE FROM YOU?
When you, our customer, place an order with us through our online shop, we receive the following personal data attached to your order:
- Name and surname;
- Physical address (either home or work address);
- Postal code, town/city and country where you live;
- Your personal emailaddress;
- Your phone number (if you have provided this when placing your order);
- Financial related information when purchases are made and paid for.
We also receive (parts) of the above mentioned data when (potential) customers contact us with an inquiry.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE ABOVE MENTIONED PERSONAL DATA?
In order for us to run our business properly and to be able to offer the best service possible, weuse the above mentioned data for the following:
- To invoice you on your billing address;
- To ship out your purchases to your shipping address;
- To communicate with you about the processing/shipping of your order;
- To reply to questions and/or inquiries that we receive;
- To check payment status of orders and/or issue a refund if an order is canceled/returned.
Furthermore, when you place an order through our shop, your order as well as your personal data is automatically stored in the customer database that is an integrated part of our online store. We don’t have any control over this as this is an integrated part of the system which the hosting party MA-shops offers us (see privacy statement of MA-shops to read how they use your data). The above mentioned database is used by us for the following internal purposes only:
- To keep track of the order history of our individual customers;
- To check old orders if the need arises, for instance when a return is requested;
- To contact our customer(s) if the need arises.
WHAT WE DO NOT AND WILL NOT DO WITY YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Our sole aim is to ensure that you will enjoy browsing our shop and the coins that you purchase from us. As stated, we will use the personal data that we receive from you only to ensure the best possible service. We will not ever share your personal data with other parties, unless necessary to report crimes/theft. We will also not send or email any newsletters or advertisements to your (email)address, unless you’ve told us to do so.
HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
All data we receive to process orders will be stored for at least 7 years, which we are obliged to do in accordance with the regulations of the Dutch tax authority. After this period, by default we will delete all data, unless certain data is needed to be able to continue our service towards you (for example: you’re a returning customer, so we keep your shipping address in our database).
YOUR RIGHTS
You are entitled to ask us what personal data of yours we have and how we use it. You also have the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data. You can also object to the use of your data. Please contact us for any questions and/or requests you might have.
